Stacey Field | RYT500 Yoga, Strength, Pilates
Driven by a belief that movement should be both empowering and sustainable, Stacey founded the studio in 2019, then known as Humbled Warriors Yoga. What began as a yoga studio has since grown into a multi-modality movement space, integrating strength training, Pilates, and yoga to support whole-body wellness and long-term vitality.
Stacey is grateful to her teachers Jamie Forbes and Lois Cromwell, and to her husband Alex for their continued support on this path.

Stephanie Beechler | RYT200 Yoga, Strength, Pilates
Steph is a Registered Dietitian, certified yoga teacher (RYT-200), and founder of Fit & Fed by Steph, where she helps women build confidence through balanced nutrition, mindful movement, and self-care.
She began practicing yoga in 2012 and returned to it more deeply in 2022, completing her 200-hour training in 2025. Yoga has helped her slow down, reconnect, and approach herself with more compassion—something she brings into every class.
Steph’s teaching blends presence, playfulness, and permission to show up exactly as you are. Off the mat, she enjoys sunshine, good books, nature walks, and time with her pets and loved ones.

Brandi Thompson Scott | RYT200
Brandi has been teaching dance in Greensboro since 2001 and began practicing yoga in 2015. She completed her 200-hour training in 2020 at Humbled Warriors Yoga with Jamie Forbes and Audrey Sheldon.
A creative at heart, Brandi is also an amateur photographer specializing in family, dance, and yoga portraits — many of the photos on our site are her work! She lives in Greensboro with her husband, three kids, and sweet labradoodle.

Audrey Sheldon | E-RYT500
Audrey’s journey began with a love of movement, nature, and creative expression. In her 20s, she found her teacher, Chandra Om, and immersed herself in the traditional practices of classical yoga, studying for five years at the NC School of Yoga.
Audrey later expanded her path through Shamanic studies focused on feminine indigenous wisdom. Today, she is a Reiki Master Teacher, shamanic healer, frame drum builder, and experienced facilitator.
With over 20 years of teaching and thousands of hours leading classes, trainings, and workshops, Audrey brings deep knowledge, presence, and soul to everything she offers.

Lois Cromwell | E-RYT500
Lois is the founder and owner of Sonda Yoga. She took her very first yoga class in 1999 and from that moment on fell in love with yoga. Since then she has studied extensively. She completed her first 200-hour teacher training in 2003 and fell in love with Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Lois completed her first 500 Hour Teacher training in 2014, a second 500-hour training in 2015, and most recently completed another 300 Hour Teacher training in 2019. It’s safe to say she loves to be a student.
Lois teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa, Yin, and Meditation. Her passion is teaching yoga and training students to become yoga teachers. When she’s not practicing or teaching yoga she’s spending time with her husband, three wonderful daughters, and extended family and friends.

Jay Speetjens | RYT500
Jay began practicing yoga daily in 2020. He fell in love with the movement and quickly became enthralled with the breadth and depth of yogic practices, including pranayama and seated meditation. He also enjoys using sound and guided visualizations as objects of meditation during restorative yoga sessions. Jay holds a 500 RYS certification from Yoga Alliance through Sonda Yoga. He is enthusiastic about exploring and sharing all aspects of yoga.

Cera Allred | RYT200 Yoga + Pilates Teacher
Cera is a full-time mental health protessional who works with children, adolescents, and families at a private practice.
She has a passion for assisting others in times of need through her work as a therapist, and in teaching yoga. In seeing the importance of mental health, she values the ideals of teaching mindfulness, meditative practices, and yoga.
Her principles of teaching are based on inclusivity and providing a warm, nonjudgmental space for all students. She loves providing a lighthearted, welcoming environment with fun music to encourage students to show up as they are.

Brandon Joyner | RYT200
Brandon Joyner completed his Yoga Teacher Certification and Leadership Program in 2020 through Dancing Dogs Yoga. With a focus in Yin and Restorative Yoga, Brandon is committed to ensuring you feel relaxed, refreshed, and restored after you take his class. He enjoys making playlists and feels that the music he plays is just as important as the sequencing of his class. His goal is that everyone feels welcome and comfortable, with the absolute knowing that you can show up just the way you are on your mat. Brandon wants you to know that you are loved, and you matter! For him Yoga truly is for everyBODY.

Kristin Richmond | E-RYT500 yoga, strength, pilates
Kristin has practiced yoga since 2011 and began teaching in 2015. She loves how its timeless teachings blend with modern science, functional strength, and subtle practices alike. She believes that strength and surrender work together and that true growth often happens in the spaces between.
Drawing from a wide range of study in vinyasa and yin yoga as well as strength training and pilates, her classes invite students to explore the balance between challenge and release through smart sequencing that feels good in the body!
When she’s not teaching, Kristin mentors yoga teachers, designs personal brand websites, and most importantly, cherishes her role as mom. She finds inspiration through art, family adventures, and the everyday moments that remind her to pause and take it all in.

Jen Talton | RYT200 Yoga + Strength
With over 12 years of practice in yoga and fitness, Jennifer has come to the realization that “movement is medicine”. Believing that as the mind and body become aligned though motion, it leads to clarity and a rejuvenation. She teaches with individuality in mind, guiding her students to release expectation and connect with their true alignment.
In addition to Yoga, Jennifer’s passion for health paved the way to becoming a Wellness Coach, with a concentration in Gut Health from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2020.

Ben Joyner | RYT200
While Ben came to yoga as a way to expand his physical fitness routine, he found that Yoga not only met his physical needs, but also provided stress relief and tapped into his creative side.
Ben received his RYT-200 from Yoga Mindset and has additional certifications in Rocket Yoga under David Kyle.
For Ben, Yoga is a delightful place of movement and meditation. He is excited to continue learning and share that knowledge through teaching.

Daniel Johnson | RYT200
Daniel’s fun and athletic flows are designed to help you channel self-love, strength, courage, and gratitude for life! Although he discovered the magic of yoga back in 2008, it wasn’t until 2022 that he adopted a serious practice. In 2023, Daniel earned his 200hr RYT certification from Sonda Yoga and quickly began teaching Vinyasa Power Flows. His classes feature powerful, challenging flows, deep philosophical themes, and dynamic playlists that will empower you to face any challenge with unwavering strength.
Outside of yoga, Daniel enjoys spending time with his elderly blue heeler, Sky Blue, hiking, and growing vegetables. Yoga plays a crucial role in supporting his mental well-being and helping him find balance in life.

Michelle Miller | RYT200 Yoga + strength
Designer and Mama by day, Michelle seeks joy and inspiration in the everyday. Her passion for yoga, movement, and mindfulness guides her to inspire curiosity and creativity both on and off the mat.
Michelle is a 200 RYT and graduated from Level Above yoga school in June of 2023. Her love for learning means she is continually expanding her skill set. She is a Y12SR peer support specialist, trained in steel mace, a reiki master and astrology and Human Design Enthusiast.

Emily Hamuka | RYT200
Emily earned her 200-hour RYT certification from Sonda Yoga and brings a background as a speech-language pathologist and college professor to her teaching—infusing her classes with mindfulness, communication, and connection.
To Emily, yoga is a grounding practice that supports balance in everyday life. Her classes offer a welcoming space for students to slow down, reconnect, and move with intention.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her golfing, hiking, or spending time with family—living the balance she encourages in her teaching.

Meredith Vaughn | RYT200
Originally from Greensboro, Meredith returned to North Carolina after living in Milan, Italy, where she earned her Master’s Degree. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2021 with K10 Yoga in Winston-Salem. With a background in dance and performing arts, Meredith brings a focus on alignment, expression, and intentional movement to her classes.
When she’s not teaching or practicing, Meredith works as a structural engineer with a passion for preserving historic buildings. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and continuing her studies in Italian and French.
